How-To: Recharge your K&N Air filter

So you have a K&N Airfilter and you wanna help it breathe a little easier? Check this out.

Warning: If you do not have a K&N Airfilter- DO NOT TRY THIS on your stock filter

What's Needed:

- K&N recharger, filter care service kit (can be bought at any automotive store even Wal-Mart)
- Gloves (not needed but recommended)
- And of course your dirty K&N air filter
- Soft bristle brush

PURPOSE: To recharge air Filter. Restores air flow efficiency so your K&N air filter performs like new.

NOTES: - Servce every 5,000-10,000 miles on street driving applications. ( i like to clean once - twice every year) - Do not use this method on stock paper air filter, filter must be cotton - Dry naturally, After rinsing shak off excess water so it dries quicker and let element totaly dry, do not use hair drier, heating will cause filter to shrink

- Air filter oil is included in recharger kit, do not use motor oil, WD-40 etc, unly use air filter oil
