lol, long live the Explorer's! It got me on the top of multiple police lists. the whole fact that you took time out to do free police work goes a long way. Trust me, it WILL pay off when you have your oral board interview and you mention you did explorer work. If you ever need any advice on the application process let me know. I am testing to get on my third list in mid April lol.
