New Engine 4.2l Upgrade 2000 Mustang Coupe

Thanks for the info. I'm using the stock oil pump hope I'll be ok. I have deleted the balancing shaft so that should send a little more oil to the mains and connecting rod. My mains and connecting rod tolerance are two to two and a half thousandths. On race engines you can go as high as 3...

I have not heard back from the machine shop yet. I'm thinking your right the ones that came with the rebuilt crank are for the stock rods. I'm using Scat rods.

Dropped off the crank rods and pistons at USA racing in Pasadena Texas. Prices is determined by how much weight he has to add or subtract from the crank. But he seems confident that he can balance what I got. Rod bearings that came with the crankshaft the dimples that locate where they're at on...

Crankshaft they seem to be about .002 The specks for stock are .001 to .0015 for race engines it's better to be big up to .003 think I'm in good shape. USA race engines are going to balance the crankshaft and look at the rods to see if I need new ones. I checked the rods on a scale he ground...

Thanks it's hard to say how much it cost for the turbo kit. I built my own headers intake piping if I had to guess about $2,500 in parts. 750.00 for two Garrett turbos. Treadstone twin intercooler was about 350.00 and about 1000.00 in piping supporting parts blow off wastegates. SCT Cal 4 and...

It's no problem at all as soon as you remove your foot from the accelerator the throttle body goes close and your back under vacuum. Furthermore the booster is just a assistance or mechanical advantage. You'll be able to stop the car weather the booster is working or not.

Mobile 1 full synthetic is good stuff. I wouldn't think Running at 225 a few times would hurt anything but performance. I have a couple of cars that run in that range.
