04 3.9L torque spec for spark plugs

    seen two different answers on the net. my son's car will be here next week and want to change the plugs. 7-15ft lbs? don't recall if this car has aluminum or cast heads.

    It has aluminum heads. Not sure on the torque specs, I just make sure the engine is cold when I snug them down, then say the word "click" when I feel the torque is right

    lol!!! thanks. I will probably go with around 14ft lbs. should be all right there.

    ALLDATA lists torque as 11-ft lbs.
