I got the steeda catalog today :D Now I have a list of stuff I want for mine. :wtf: If I can put in 10 hours of overtime a week, I might have everything by next year. But once I close on my house next week, I will be ordering a sct xcal from steeda, and then a CAI. Followed by a vortech supercharger later on with dual exaust.

I hear ya! I am on salary though so overtime doesn't work for me. Hey and just so you know pete is cheaper than Steeda if you want to save money go with pete.

My car has been sponsered! Don't know by who yet but i got two sponserships from carsponserships.com and they want to do another sponsership and send me to the next Hot Import Nights in Dallas. We will see what happens! Supposidly i am getting over a $1000 worth of parts in the mail in the next 10 days and if I get the Hot Imports Night sponsership then they give me another $7,000 plus in parts which include raven wheels/dunlop tires/lighting/suspension/brakes/exhaust and more so who knows.

Well you know the V6 upgrade wheels come with knock off spinners. What if he bought bullitt rims and put the 05 center caps on? I highly doubt he ment some 20" inch spinner rim. :wtf:

You have already demonstrated you ignorance. You don't have a clue about the differance between the two mustangs. Just so you learn a bit, the weight to torque on the convertable is perfect at 50/50. That coupe of yours is off a bit and the ass end gets very light. If you don't road race much then your stupidity is understandable, I bet you are a NASCAR boy. Before you open you mouth next time, do a little research. I bet you are a Ricer...r at heart :D

When he said spinners, he wasn't talking about the bling bling spinners you see on Escalades with 22" rims, he was talking about the knock off spinner center caps that come on the upgraded V6 wheels. They are modled after the old style Halibrands that had only one center lug nut (look at the wheels on Eleanor, the Shelby GT 500 from Gone in 60 Seconds if you don't know what I am talking about).

a friend of mine had a 69 boss 429 ( yeah, a 16 year old kid. wonder what it's worth today? ), total black with the louvers. when the 05 came out i thought,"put louvers on it, a hood scope and that's jimmys car." i bought a black one because of it.

where did you get the louvers at?

    nice looking car!

I drove a rental 05 for a week and the stock 05 sounds alot better than a stock 04!! I think the firing order has been changed, more like a v8 sound. :)

Firing order has little to do with sound. The firing order is the same.

I know how to take care of this :) with the new 05's being drive by wire, well the throttle anyway... take and record the full throttle sound from start to idle and on up to WOT on an 05 V8. Then grab/install one of the mini-mac's (though I prefer Unix to a mac or Windblows for that matter) in your car, hook it into the car's sound system, maybe install an exterior, water proof sub-woofer speaker under the back of the car, wire in via USB, serial or whatever to the throttle position indicator to the mini-mac and have the mini-mac reproduce the V8 sound based upon the V6's throttle position and speed
