Really Nice Work!!
Thanks its not show quality but a hell of alot better it was! It's good practice for my 1967 cougar project next.

Here is the driver side. Just have to the in the frame to the shock tower. Going to plug weld a piece of 1/8" plate after the welded patch to secure it all.

Swapped out the pan and the pick up and painted the pan to match motor. Was going to try to get the clutch on but running out of day late.

Starting last year of plumbing apprenticeship so weekdays are shot.
There is a local dyno day on Oct.1st. So hoping to have this thing buttoned up and tuned before than to see what she puts down.

Installed the clutch today. Also went to swap some parts out specifically the 4.2 heater hose outlet pipe to the heater core. Well as I was wiggling it free the water pump inlet cracked!!! So either gotta spring for a new one or jb weld the piece back on.

You will need a new or rebuilt water pump. That area gets hot and is under 15+ lbs of pressure all the time. Patching it will just leak and it is metal.

Small update, swapped out the water pump and had to out the mustang pulley on the pump for the belt to align with the crank pulley. 4.2 WP pulley was off a touch.

Installed the motor mounts and oil lines and swapped over the oil pressure sensor from the 3.8.

Seems like Saturday is the day to get this baby back together.
