So Yodmans write up and short video had me intrigued as to how I'd like the sounds of muffler less exhaust on the '11. Here's the video I made and I'm on the fence on whether or not I'm gonna put the mufflers back on. Since it only takes about 40 minutes to take them off it was a worthwhile experiment.

    Here's an updated compilation vid

Well it is always hard to get a true feeling how it sounds in a video.

How do you truly think it makes the car sound over the stock mufflers? From the video it sounds very high pitched when you push on the gas.

But if it sounds good in person or at least better then the stock mufflers maybe it would be worth the savings and just keep them removed.

I would not mind doing that to my car in the spring!!

Ya I like the sound the most under 2k rpms, once it gets over that, when revving, it sounds like a screaming bat out of hell.

Ya no hurt feelings here, I'm still very much on the fence. Sometimes I dont mind it and sometimes I feel like a bumblebee. This definitely isnt gonna be a substitute for after-market exhaust, ATM the plan is to get the bassani aft-cat system.

I like it. Under load it almost sounds like a louder version of my dad's 4.0.

I applaud. I was surprised how quiet it was. Not sure I would like to live with it on the street, but you could go back and forth for the strip - or, even better, switch over for a while if in a month you'll be racing twice or more.

Your video does do it better justice than mine does, however it doesn't really tell you how loud it is. I got a pretty bad drone from mine anywhere above 2500 RPM. Below that it's almost as quiet as stock. It sounds great, and now I know what it's like from outside, as I never recorded mine like that. I like your wheels, too, USAF. 19" GT Premiums?
