Nice--congrats! Race red with black interior--that's an excellent combo. The 2015 is a beautiful design, and those TI-VCT engines make some incredible power. It would be nice to order a car right from the factory, with nobody else having owned it before.

Thanks! This is my first Mustang and also the first time I have ordered a vehicle directly from the factory! I have always been an admirer of the '68, or '69 fastback design, and this car really puts me in mind of it. AND this year has IRS which in my eyes is a bonus!

My take on the 2015 is that it's really close to being par with some of the best handling supercars from Europe. The Mustang has always lagged behind on some things--some detractors of the Fox body Stangs griped about the rear wheel drums while the Camaro had rear wheel discs, etc--but based on Ford's detailed videos describing all of the technology, power, handling and things like that, they've really upped their game.

What color is it? I love my convertible (2014 red candy). But a yellow would be fab.

It is Race Red. BTW my car shipped on 1/10. Supposed to be at the dealer on 2/1.

I will get some better shots and some of the engine bay plus the interior. Picked it up on Sunday. Put about 180 miles on that day. This thing is really "planted" in the corners. The ride is very firm, but comfortable and confidence inspiring. Really didn't notice much difference in the road noise or wind noise between 60 & 120 mph. Stopping power is very good and predictable. It really doesn't feel like a 3400 lb vehicle. For a base model, the interior is well appointed, laid out well and damn comfortable. I am 6'2' and 230lbs. Damn comfortable.
