2015 mustang

im new to this but i have tried to find the location of the cylinder head tempature sensor on a 2015 mustang v6,bought this car brand new and to this day i have only 30000 miles on it,but it messed up on me one cold day as i went to start it and it went nuts dash all lit up car struggled to stay on then completely died,i ran a diagnostic code check and it threw out a code p1289 cht sensor.part cost pennies but i cant find nothing on the internet at all,its the weekend so ill call the dealer monday until then im taking the bus to work while my mustang sleeps.....any help would be appreciated

It's part number 14, $20. The picture is from a Ford parts site. It doesn't make sense to me but maybe help you some. Sorry .

It's not the actual part# though, just the order# on the diagram.

GO there to change the vehicle and get the actual part#.

No, it's part number 14 in the drawing. The part number for the sensor is 9L8Z-6G004-E.
