    ok im really confused about stroking my 3.8 :confused: what all do i need and can i get all of this from a ford ranger? :uhh:
    a crank, rods and pistons? would that fit/work?

    well you wouldnt actually need the rods as they are the same. And since you are changing the crank you will need to have it ballanced...ie different ballancer & flywheel.

    i think that rangers had 4.0's not 4.2's. f-150's have 4.2's.

    Ford F and E series had the 4.2 Half ton only I believe.
