Auto to manual swap

    Is the driveshaft in the 99-04 automatic mustang the same as the manual mustangs

    I swapped my auto for a T5 and kept the drive shaft. I did however replace the yoke that goes into the transmission. That part is different.

    This is what I used right here: Ford Racing Driveshaft Yoke - 28 Spline (79-95 5.0L; 94-04 V6) Though the one I bought was an official "Ford Racing" brand. Looks like they replaced it with a generic (along with a nice price hike).

    On a slick wet road, I managed to bang through the gears and do a near standstill burnout in 4th gear. It held up nicely :D
