I'm looking at buying the AutoEnginuity scan tool. I have a 1995 Ford Mustang V6 that has an OBDII connector. I'd like to know if anyone has actually used one of the popular scan tools (AutoEnginuity, AutoTap, Auterra) on a 1995 Ford Mustang V6 and if it worked ok.

Although most scan tools say they are for 96+ cars, 95-95 V6's went to OBD-II early. Thus, any OBD-II can tool will work on 94-95's.

    Thanks Steve!

Does anyone have any comments (positive or negative) regarding the scan tools from AutoEnginuity, AutoTap or Auterra? Right now, I'm leaning towards buying the one from AutoEnginuity.

One year ago I've bought an "INNOVA 3100" code reader through eBay and it works great on my '94 stang

I want to get a scan tool that I can hook up to my PC (notebook).
