If the mods in your sig are all the ones you have, then I call BS. Though crappy for GTs, the 94-98s will beat stock or near stock 99+ sixers, period. Unless they are driven by blind 12 year olds, which I doubt.

I can see him beating the 95 if it were auto and he could drive. Not too sure about the 98. Only if it were auto.

the 95-94 were slow and a stock 99+ 5-speed could take one with realtive ease. as for a 98, it certinly is possible but NL would have to be an execenlent driver, or the 98 could have been an auto. but even the 98 was an auto NL would still have to be a good driver just not as good.

Does a 14.7 bone stock sound slow? I don't see newer V6s with the usual mods doing that at the track.

thats why relative was in bold on my post. i was saying that it would be relatively easy for a v6 to beat a 95GT compared to a 98GT. i wasn't saying it would be easy at all.

When I took my bone-stock 95 GT to the track I got about 9 runs in that day. My worst was a 15.3 with the best being a 14.7. So my worst time is compramible to some best times by slightly-modded 99+ V6s. Sorry, sounds more like a V6 has a relatively hard time of beating a GT.

If you beat one, two or a couple then great. Do not think though that you'll have a relatively easy chance beating a 5-spd GT.

if the v6 can hook up really good, and i mean really freaking good like 2.1's on the street in 60ft then yea the stock 95 gt manual will go down and the 98 will also, especially if they are both autos. now a stock 99 up v6 will run 15.6's stock vs a 95 gts' 15.0-15.1s stock for stock teh gt will win, unless its a auto with are running 15.6's stock also. with a few mods and out driving on the street its very possible, its the street after all you can lose 3-4 cars by not taking off quicker. At the track is a differnt game where you have to beat numbers not just the car. I ran a 99gt and beat him in the 8th mile but i ran a second slow than him, he just took his sweet time getting off the line.

Should the flag be risen???

not all supras were turbos, so its very possible... and ive beaten a 94-98 gt manual at the track, i dont kno what year it was, so i think thats possible too

I can beat 95 Gt's on a regular basis. And have plenty of witnesses. Never pulled up to the light with a 96-98 that wanted to race though. My friend has a 95 Gt 5-spd that he hates because I beat him every time. Maybe he's sucks and I'm good, but that's just my experiance with them.

Yeah, I know that not all Supras are turbo. I am thinking of the non-turbo. Airbrat, Ried or somone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't a nonturbo Supra run high 14s, like 14.7? I am giving him benefit of the doubt that the 95 was an auto.

alot of the time its all the driver. I know a dude with a 95 gt. He has a ford chip, mac cai, u/d pulleys, 3.55 gears, shift kit, back seat delete kit, and he can only run a 15.1. My uncle drove it and ran a 14.4 with a bad launch. With the dude driving the gt he can barely outrun me.
