Bought another project. I owned a 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix back in 81-83. Have looked for another forever. Finally found one last July / August, while I was recovering from surgery. Had a buddy local to it in Missouri go check it out, sent him the funds and he hauled it to his house. And shipped it to me. 72 GP SJ with 455. Had some rust under and around the vinyl top. I dismantled the car, replaced body mounts and all suspension. Sent the body to my body guy. He put a new roof panel on it, straightened the panels and shot it factory white, Currently in wet sanding / buffing. Should be back Saturday April 8. I'll reassemble some, then send it to a local shop to have the new black vinyl top and headliner installed. Bring it home and install: all new interior, weather stripping, stereo, Edlebrock aluminum heads, Butler Performance cam kit, Holley efi and distributor, Ram Performance headers. New rally wheels, exhaust, new glass. I sent all the trim off to have dings removed and it polished. Looking forward to it. Hopefully have it done by June1 to take to the Pontiac show in Pigeon Forge. Lot's to do.
