    Hey everybody,

I needed everyone's advice on this one. I want a Bullitt Fuel Door for my car but I am not sure what color/style to go with. I have a 2000 Ford Mustang with 18" chrome Cobra R rims. A friend said go with a chrome Bullitt Fuel Door to match the rims, but I'm not really feeling that. I rather go with the darker, gray looking (Brushed Aluminum) fuel door.

Any opinions? I searched and read some other comments about what styles to go with from previous threads, but I need to bring this up before I buy one. :D

I'm guessing I will buy one off of eBay once I decide.

Here is an example of Brushed Aluminum (I'm guessing this is what they call the gray looking ones I have seen on some Bullitt Mustangs):

The Chrome Fuel Door may match the Rims, however, I think it would stand-out to much and look out of place against the Silver paint.

If this help, this is how the Brushed Aluminium fuel door looks installed on mine: (Bigger Pic)

(Either way, it's a good conversation piece)

Also you could check www.uprproducts.com I think that's the website, anywho they have a brushed aluminum outside with a satin black inside and a pony engraved in it. Or Cobra for that matter. You could check them out. Hope that helps.

Heres what I did. I got the brushed fuel door and added a running pony to it to be different.

I have the brushed myself also. Don't get the chrome...it's tacky. Save it for the low riders.

When I put my Roush badges on I used my leftover running pony for the fuel door.

Yea, alittle to stand-outish. Chrome will be a pain to other drivers in the sun. You could always try and find someone (Maybe even UPR) that would annodize it black.
