Can parts off a 97 3.8 engine fit onto a 03 3.8?

I see this guy on offerup selling parts for a 97 3.8 mustang engine my engine is ticking right now and I think this would be cheaper than swapping the engine whole but more complicated. My car is making a ticking sound underneath the passenger side valve cover it only ticks after flooring it or it the car hits 4k rpms and stays when idling.

Defiantly Not The Heads, You'd Have To Change Exhaust, Intake Set Up No Gain In Power.
Real Mess! Did You Pull Valve Cover To See If It's A Bad Rocker Assembly Or Bent Push Rod.
If That's The Only Problem Why Pics Of Top End Change. If You Don't Keep Up With Oil Changes
You Could Have A Sticky Valve Lifter. One Other Thing They Changed From American Standard
To Metric In 98 Or 99 I Believe, Need To Check That.

The block is the same. The 97s are single port and the 03 are split port. The is a 30 horse power gain.More air in and a power gain. Its a pain in the butt to change. Like J said intake exhaust exedra.
