I have a 2000 v6 mustang and it doesn't self steer, you can turn and let go of the wheel and it just keeps turning. Any ideas what could be causing this

    Bad pump or alignment?
Did you hit a pot hole or curb lately?

When was the last time you had a wheel alignment on this car?

Also, check the bolts that hold the top of your struts in place.
If that plate that they hold down slips, like if you hit the brakes hard, that will change your caster and/or camber.

Either alignment or more rarely, tie rod ends or ball joints can get corroded and start to bind and hang.

    Other than SPAMMING us,
how the hell does a nut above the headlights affect steering?
And "Cherished this write up" is not normal American English,
    are you a Chinese scammer?

ball joints would be the first thing i would check. jack the front end up and turn the wheels by hand on both sides . you should be able to feel the side that was sticking .
