Sweet thanks alot Quad
How do you make sigs?
Pretty much just throw some pictures of your car together creatively.
How do you blurr in pics in the background? Do you just copy and paste the cars onto it then do what you want with them. There are so many things you guys do.
You just kinda have to play around with stuff and figure it out. I can't really explain everything.
When I go to blend the paint on the car it never turns out right. It turns grey when I do black on a red when I go to blending options and go to color. Does the same thing when I try to do black on the yellow. What am I doing wrong
I'm not quite understanding the question. Are you trying to make it a different color other than gray? The "color" blending option basically turns whatever you paint in that layer into that color. For instance, make a new layer with the "color" blending option and use the paint bucket tool to paint the whole layer red. You'll notice the whole picture will turn red. If you paint it a dark red then it'll be more towards the grayscale side whereas bright red will turn it a very saturated red.
The problem may lie in the order of your layers. Make sure the layer with the "color" blending option is on top of the layers of the car.
I get lost on steps 5 and 6. I have a friend who has been trying it on his laptop and were both lost
Can anyone help us with these steps
Once again I don't quite understand what you're doing wrong since you haven't described what results you're getting. I know of one part of it that may be different with CS2. I know that when you press Ctrl+click on a layer, it doesn't select what's in that layer. Instead of this part just go to Edit>Select All and then use the cursor tool to move the selection and it'll surround only what's in the layer. It's a pain and I don't know why they changed it.
for step five you want to select all of the pixels in the shape. the easiest way to do this is to hold down Ctrl key and then clicking on the thumbnail image of the layer inside of the layer pallette. (you can achieve the same results by using the magic wand tool, clicking anywhere inside the image where there isn't any pixels on that layer, and then going to Layer/Select Inverse)
for step 6 you are just filling the selection you made in step five with black. All you have to do is set the color you wish to make your paint in the forground slot of you paint brush, then fill the selection with it.
an easy way to do this, is to (once you have your color set) press Alt+Backspace. This keystroke fills your selection with the forground color.
hope that helps some.
Thanks Cody thats just what I was looking for.
