thanks for getting low places in my head.i hope the rest of you suffer too.....

although i prob would go to a garth brooks show. it would have to be in town, not pricey, and with a big group. everyone my age had to have gone through a country phase when he was super popular.

Saw him in the mid-90s and then again in 2015 or so. Awesome both times and I'm not even a concert guy. I would say best concerts I've been too and it helps I know every song he plays.

There is no doubt you are getting 100% effort from him nightly.

He's playing FIVE shows here. Thursday, Friday, Saturday AM, Saturday PM, and Sunday. All sold out. That's insane.

He had two shows scheduled earlier this year in Memphis. Sold out in minutes so they added a 3rd. That sold out in an hour or something. So they added a 4th.

All 5 shows sold out here in less than 50 minutes, so crazy!

Got to work at 8am, left at 5 and went straight to work the John Butler Trio show and just walked out. It was crazy. I made $350, but I am so tired and hungry.

I'm certainly not going to seek out any of their music, but I know to not be upset about working if they return next year.

@Holly You working the Queens of the Stoneage show in October? That would be pretty damn good to see.

You guys get some pretty big acts like Jerry Seinfeld and Paw Patrol live tour.

Yep, definitely working that show. Seinfeld is already sold out - will be a great one to work because there will definitely be drinkers.

I'll be working the following shows through the end of the year:
    Boz Scaggs 10/5
    Theory of a Deadman 10/6
    Kaleo 10/9
    Milky Chance 10/17
    QOTSA 10/18
    Alt-J 10/21
    Jerry Seinfeld 10/26
    Ben Folds 11/4
    Blue October 11/11
    David Blaine 12/4
    The Revivalists 12/6
    Nick Offerman 12/8
Vance Joy and Portugal. The Man 12/15 -- may not work this one if I can score free tickets to it. It's in the main auditorium (which doesn't have any bars inside the room so we can only hear the show and not see it).
Straight No Chaser various dates in Dec.

I'm really lucky because since I work a FT day job, I can choose when I do or don't want to work. Most of the other employees only have other PT serving/bartending jobs and usually need any shifts they can get.

After almost 17 years I'm finally getting to see Tenacious D live tomorrow night. Just a few more left to complete the concert bucket list.
