Two questions on the 99-04 Mustangs, the one I picked up in spring is my first :

    1) Is there an indicator light that shows when the cruise control is on?
    2) Is there a button in the interior to unlock the power trunk?

My previous non-Mustangs have always had these features, usually a power trunk button in the glove box to unlock from inside instead of the remote fob.

My 1999 has the yellow button inside the glove box left hand side.

No light indicators for cruise. Only thing to know if you set it is the faint relay click in the dash when you hit the set button.

Found it lol! The couple of times I checked I couldn't see it from the drivers seat I have to embarasingly admit!

Can't understand why they wouldn't put an indicator in like other car makers.

I agree, needs a cancel button too. Alas that's on par with most domestic cars back then.
