Another good one is "neverfastenough" split port turbo sc. I had some pics of his intake but cant find them. His has a true taper where it tapers from front to rear the entire way.

And dammm, phil needs to do something with that engine bay lol.

So the person who built the upper intake in post #1 had it dyno tuned today and it looks to be a failure. Lost 10tq and 60hp. Click the link in first post to see the thread. Back to the drawing board on it I guess.

Yeah not really sure what they were thinking, it looks great mounted to the motor just needs a little common sense next go around.

hey.. Edison's light bulb took many iterations before it worked well enough. Hope they keep at it to make it work right.

The air has to has a smooth transition bewteen the intakes. Air goes in and out of the runners pulsating, this is why you see gains from going with bigger plenum area.

I believe in anything Phil does. He gave me a sweet idea to "upgrade" stock fuel rails which I am running on the car now. I haven't visited V6P in a good while, so I had yet to know he made another upper for himself. He always seemed to have a new idea for something every month. For myself, I was hoping to find something in the form of this...

I even sent an email (twice) to Nelson Racing Engines, I had seen them add twins to a chevy 4.3L V6 and the upper manifold was VERY similar to this, asked if they would consider making one for a Ford V6 and of course, it was ignored... both times... :(

Pictures of my finished upper intake. Red line is meth/water, silver line is NOS. Note the black burst plugs in the rear of the upper intake.
