lol i was gonna come here to post about it. i think in indy all liqour was banned but cold beer was not. maybe could only buy beer at liquor stores?

SCar had some similar rule, but it was beer being available 24/7 and liquor only certain hours and specific shops.

No, you couldn't buy beer or alcohol on Sunday.

You can only buy cold beer at liquor store, that didn't change.

Seems Tennessee is about to pass a similar law.

Correction: “Monday to Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday: Only beer (not wine or liquor) can be sold. Wine sales in Tennessee retail food stores began at 8 a.m. on July 1, 2016. Sales are allowed Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. No wine sales are allowed on Sundays, although beer sales are.”

They are about to change the wine law to allow Sunday sales.

In Georgia they wouldn't even let us buy a scratch off ticket before noon on Sundays. I blame the churchs

Curious....am I the only person here paid hourly?

Well not anymore at least. Wife and I were just talking about it bc my check tomorrow will be my first ever on salary. We're just trying to figure out how much it will be.....budget crap. I basically got my normal raise this year, but then they added on my OT average of the past few years. It's gonna be weird for me just bc I've been hourly for 15 years, but will be nice to make the same ever week. Are your guys checks after deductions the exact same to the penny? My wifes are and I think that's what makes it weird. I'm used to my checks being plus or minus whatever depending on OT or only working 38 hours.

edit: two weeks ago for example HR whiffed putting in a vacation day for me. so i only had 31 hours on the check. it was a wussy ass check for sure, but its happened before and never bugged me. gonna be weird that it can't happen ever again

I’m hourly. Not sure I want to change that for fear of working me more than 40 on the regular.

I'm only expected to work 40. Last year was my lowest OT year ever so nice they went back a few years to get an average. I think it was like 65 hours of OT for the average. During busy season we have some guys that will do that in one week.lol. no way they'd go salary. Last busy week we had a guy average being off the clock for 6 hours per day over 7 days. Funk that

I'm hourly and my check is never the same. Some weeks I work 45 hours, some weeks I work 65 hours. Depends on traveling and work load.

Picked up the pontoon over the weekend.

I installed my depth finder today (pictured). The guy left his on the boat when he sold it to me. I looked it up and it retailed for $2800. :stare: It's a few years old but I should be able to sell it for around $1000.

I'm assuming it's just a pontoon since it has lifting strakes right? Also running a carpet cleaner over that carpet will make that stuff look really nice, but I'm sure you planned on that.

    It's a tri.

I'll probably clean the carpets before we take it to the lake. Going back in storage tomorrow.

I swear some parents should be beaten with a rubber hose when dropping their kids off at school. We have a loop to drop off and we get these parents who sit in a spot for minutes waiting for a car to leave so the can pull 15' closer to the door. It ****s up the whole flow and causes a huge backup of cars into the main road. A car was leaving today and I was about to pull into that spot and the car parked behind it pulled forward into where I was going to park. They gained a whole 10' and I'm stuck with no spot to pull into. It's infuriating.

My oldest daughter (14) who has 9nly lived with me for the last 2 years was bad for this when she first moved in. I'd be dropping her off, 1-2 cars in line in front of us. The line is at a dead stop and she's just sitting there waiting to get dropped off at the front door like she's arriving at the damn Oscar's or something. It didn't take her long to realize she wasn't gonna do that crap with me. I went full on T1000 on her lol
