Day 1 playing teacher went pretty well. We had some workbooks so we spent a few hours working on math, reading, comprehension, and some other stuff. Kids were pretty good about it. Limited them to one morning snack, then lunch, and an afternoon snack. Made them play Just Dance on with the kinect for 45 minutes for some exercise.

i have no idea what to do for my 8th grader luckily he's grounded for being a derp at school right now so that makes it easier. he'll be reading alot during quarantine for sure. **** them kids.

My first mustang, a 1997 v6, would be 23 years old. **** we're getting old.

man schools are so strict nowadays. its actually an incident with one of his 3 bffs. the school doesn't care about that though. they were goofing off and arguing about something. his bff took his pic and was gonna snap chat some **** on it. my boy told him not to and to delete it. kid wouldn't so he got punched in the arm. very next day there were back to being bffs. they both got in same amount of trouble and had detention together

Also, Memphis schools just added on a week of being off. Goes into April now.

I bet another week or two gets added minimum.

we opened with april 13th being the date to start back up. i said i don't want my kid back for weeks after spring break which is next week.

Considering closing down the shop for a couple weeks. Only have 5 or 6 clients scheduled this week anyways. Can't decide. Our cleaning procedures are fine so I'm not worried about it spreading at the float center but it also just feels like the right thing to do. Do a deal on memberships and gift cards to make some money in the meantime... Idk.

I've got a buddy who's a massage therapist with his wife and they had 8 cancellations yesterday. No plans to close up though.

Since you won’t really have operating costs by staying open, I can see the tough decision. Part of it is PR saying you are shutting down because you care about the community.

Yeah the PR is the main reason. I could also get some deep cleaning and maintenance done in the meantime. Need to take apart the pumps and drain/scrub the tanks and whatnot
