The damn stuff will cause the same type of cracking on your tires that people used to see when they used the old ArmorAll stuff on their dash.

Uh oh, I've been using that since I ran out of tire foam. I've also been using an old bottle of Armor All on the interior and exterior plastic...

I never had that problem and used it for quite a while. Then again, I washed it off every week and re-applied.

You can spray it on wrong? :wtf:

....one of the players said he had had the same thing happen to the car he had before he bought his 300. He said the stuff soaked into the tires and then the heat dried em out leaving small cracks around the area where the sidewall transitions into the tread.

Maybe it's the dry heat in combination with that. I've used that every time I wash my car for years and never had cracking in my tires...

I've used black magic tire wet for years without any problems. I never apply it in the sunlight, though, and I never just spray it on. I use a tire sponge to wipe off the excess.

I use this commercial product called Moon Shine tire dressing from work, and it is ****ing amazing. The tires are ridiculously shiney and it lasts a good week and a bit. Only downer is on the highway i get some spots on the body, but a quick pass of a cloth removes it with ease.
