Exhaust Leak

I have an exhaust leak on my ford mustang v6 3.8 it looks to be coming from where the drivers side mainfold meets the cats is there like a donut gasket or something for the flange to fix this leak, also how do you get the top bot on the bottom of the manifold on their is no room

There's not really a gasket, it's a cone fit. But the OE manifolds do crack readily so you probably just have a crack.

I don't remember having any particular difficulty with the bolts, the only real problem I had replacing the manifolds was I used Pacesetter shorty headers and getting the oil dipstick tube back in place took me to the edge of my sanity.

That has been a trouble free fix for over six years now, still no more problems.
