I'm looking for a cat back exhaust that will enhance the sound of my 04 convertible. Not really looking for performance upgrade, just a better sound. Anyone use any of the inexpensive systems available on ebay? I'm a little lost and overwhelmed looking at all the info online. I have a cold air intake and everythimg else is stock. Please help!

I posted this on another guy's thread, but I went with Magnaflow Competitions and K+N CAI, sounds not bad. Idk if you can find that on ebay, but cost about $400 including install on west coast for the exhaust.

just bought and installed a mac v6 system on my son's 04 v6. definitely happy with it. when you get a system, definitely buy the pypes hangar kit to install it with. perfect setup.

I have a Summit Catback on my car. Nice mellow sound... much better than stock but not loud. It's a good deal for $229.97. Its been on my car for 7 years with zero problems.

You'll want to buy some stainless steel angled exhaust tips for this catback if you buy it so figure that into the price.

Sorry for the bad link. Hopefully corrected it. The Summit cat-back dual system is actually made by Heart Throb. The only change I made was replaced all the clamps with 3/8"HD clamps.

Yeah. That's about what mine sounds like. Its really sounds good at around 2,500 rpms but not a super loud v6 riceburner sound.
