What is everyone's favorite TV series?

I never really got into TV series until a few years ago when someone told me I should watch Dexter. Well I got addicted to it and ended up watching seasons 1-5 in a few weeks. I just got done watching season 6 and the cliffhanger.

The only show I feel compares to Dexter is 'The Wire'. A friend recommended it to me and I was hooked as well. I'm into all the police **** and I can say this is probably the most realistic portrayal of 'the streets' I've ever seen. A lot of people I've talked to have never heard of it, but it has some of the highest rating/reviews.

I plan on watching Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy at some point.

Well seeing as we just had this conversation like an hour ago, you know I will say that The Wire doesn't seem to compare to Dexter, Breaking Bad, or Sons of Anarchy. I will say that my most favorite show has to be Breaking Bad though. Archer is high up there as well.

We watched the first season of Falling Skies.

We don't watch any of the big ones out now like Breaking Bad, SOA, The Walking Dead, etc.

She likes Mad Men and is looking forward to Revolution next week.

i was teh same way as geoff until i got netflix. in the last 8 or so months i've watched all of SOA, breaking bad, Weeds, and some other stuff.

only gripe is i hate being one season behind. it seems like netflix gets the previous season right when the new one comes out. i really wish there was someway for me to stay up to date, but i no has DVR.

Yeah, I use netflix to catch up then start dvr'ing the new seasons of the shows I like.

Dexter isn't that good of a show after like the 3rd season. Anyways my top 5 shows are Breaking Bad, West Wing, Mad Men, Parks and Recreation and Archer

We have had Netflix for years but haven't used it in probably a year and a half.

We just don't take the time to sit down and watch shows like that. Especially during football/basketball season.
