First pass this year with turbo 4.3

Had traction issue and lifted the throttle on this pass. I'd estimate the power to be 550rwhp range. The 31 x 12 x 3 cx racing ic is not doing the work needed so I'm on the hunt for a power stroke unit and fabbing up a cold air kit because currently it is drawing air from the engine bay which runs about 20-30* hotter than ambient. Really didnt get a clean pass. This was 16psi and timing in the 15* range. Could not log analog wideband but the o2 shows it was rich at launch.

Very cool , is that a 1/8 track if so how do you like the 1/8 vs. 1/4

Yep 8th mile. It's only going to get faster from here! This car has 6.80's in it on pump gas. Once I start giving it more timing, boost, and better traction it's possible for this combo to run 6.50's.

All the racing is done in the 8th. You typically gain 25mph on the top end from 1/8th to 1/4. Meaning my 102 mph pass would likely hit 127 in the 1/4.

Waiting on my son to try me to that track to spend some time together. All Set with the DS , Tires , Stocks and Tune to finish the car off. So what I run that's it. Hoping for the best , last time, no tires, no Tune, DS and no traction I hope to beat the 14.0 at 100.93 . Next I will be doing SCCA Solo Racing and staying with that not to beat the hell out of my car. Wish I had the money just to build a car for the track.
I can see why they are going to the 1/8 instead of 1/4, it seems to me the speeds are getting very fast. I remember when I raced as a kid the Pro Stock ran 11.0 and that was FAST!
