Just wana hear some thoughts on a evil plan I thought of.
I have a gorgeous 351w long block with .30 over bore. And started thinking about swapping it out with my 2011 v6. I thought maybe I could do it with the edlebrock efi kit. Make somewhere around 400-450hp. Put the v6 to rest for a bit. I wana say the tranny should fit??? I'm probably wrong. I know I probably am missing a hundred more things. Just figured I have one of the most expensive part bought already...

I'm sure its possible, anythings possible with enough time and money hah
if you do decide to tackle it you should def make a thread in the personal projects and builds section and keep us up to date, it would be really cool to see it all come together

Coming from a SBF V8 guy, why the hell would you swap out a 3.7L 300 HP V6 for anything but a Coyote motor or better?

You will need some good breathing heads to make over 400 HP on a 351W. You run small 170 TFS or 165 AFR's (yuck!) on a 351W and you will make only slightly more than what your V6 makes now.

Makes no sense to do this swap IMO. Turbocharged 3.7L's make 400 HP+ easily, pass emissions and get way better mpg than any SBF will. If you had a fox or early SN car, yeah a 351W makes sense. But in a 2011 that already makes 300 HP stock?
