OK, so I couldn't fnish it. I wasn't exactly full, but I didn't feel like eating either.

I still have a "cheese omelette with vegetables" to try. That one is supposed to be very interesting.

I actually have one of those. When I was still bagging at Publix, a customer gave me one after I took her order out.

It says "Menu 15. Beef Enchiladas" on it.

If you look above I actually added up all the calories. It's not much worse than fast food. But I only ate less than half of it. The cheese spread with bacon was just nasty. And don't worry, I'm not going to gain any weight from that.
The 240 calories pretzels stuffed with cheese were not bad... and I don't even like pretzels.

My boyfriend HAD to eat one of those recently, and apparently it looked so bad he was showing it around so everyone could get a laugh out of it. Maybe I'll try that one today.
edit: Oh yeah, can't say that I've ever had powdered eggs either. lol

Mmmm.. yummy. I think I was the only on in my unit who loved MRE's.

Mixing up a vanilla shake in your canteen is poor idea when it's 95*F outside though. You just can't wash that nasty taste back out of it.

I had a few of those during camping trips when I was younger and in boy scouts. My scout leader was working on a local base and got them all the time.

They are interesting to say the least.

Chemical reacting thing... I have no idea what it is but it smells nasty. It looks like the same type of stuff that's in those heating pads.
