Heater Core Lines

when the quick disconnect lines break from old age replace them with just hose or get replacement quick connect lines

would depend on the heater core... if beaded like others then a rubber hose and hose clamp is OEM for so many years before they went with the quick disconnect lines...

replace the heater core with beads on the line and use hoses + clamps
or replace with OEM heater core and use QD lines ...

the heater core is still good dont want that fun changing that :oops::) right now
i have seen 3.8s in the yards with the qd hose'es replaced with reg hose i think

if it won't leak, then it's all good and if it does it will be into the engine bay... worse thing is if it does leak and can't get it to stop the budget plan turns into a full on OEM r/r

don't worry on it, if you can make it work then kudos and have at 'er !

www.rockauto.com is amazing for lost cost oem or similar parts as a hindsight
