How to build a V6 cheap.

new jersey bro.
last two questions i'm sorry. would there still be a big power gain without the purchase of the nitrous? (probably a dumb question). and. would there be a significant difference between a manual and an automatic doing these upgrades? :x

yes there will be a big gain, the amount of the gain is of course determined with how big of a shot you decide to do....with a stock motor a 75 shot is about the highest you should go..

a manual puts more power to the ground but an auto handles boost better so it depends on what your ultimate goals are...

Great write up! I have a question about those powerpacks from supersixmotors. I was thinking of getting stage 1 that claims gain of 70+HP. I was wondering if thats true, and how hard the installation would be? Also would I need a tune after installing (i dont think so because theres no f/i)?

why a stage one? they do add a lot of power, especially if you go poweradder with it. if you know what you are doing, then the install shouldnt be too hard, just time consuming. tune, yes, i dont think you HAVE to have one, but you should or it will run bad. maybe someone else can give you more advice. while you're doing all that, might as well stroke it :thumbup:

70hp to the motor rwhp might be around 40+. Also your gonna need to get her tuned. Supersix has their own forum section go in there and ask away if you have questions.

Stage one because it's the cheapest. What's sad is that i have a complete Vortech kit but will have to sell it :( That way I would be able to afford a stage one pack and a tune!

:uhh::wtf::disgust:

instead of a power pack, just install the vortech, youll gain probly 30-40 rwhp over the power pack anyways

damn v6procharged beat me to it lol
