So I was in the market to buy a Akai MPC-1000 Sampler and wanted to get it locally.

and found a good deal on Craigslist..

So i deal with the guy for about a week finalizing the details.

So I meet up with the guy and test it all out with headphones in a starbucks.. and he spends an hour with me showing me how it works etc..

Well last night was the first time I had a chance to actually *use* it... and come to find out I can't get any Audio on the stereo output.. and the pads you hit to play sounds are buggy..

Before I bought it I even asked him if he had any problems.. he said no..

So I am out $800.. I sent him this e-mail....

Soooo annoying... I hate people... I want just one day with no stress that'd be ****ing fantastic..

Yeah, that sucks. But seriously, why buy something so expensive without any warranty?

You get what you pay for...

Yeah they use 1/4 inch plugs like u'd see on old stereo headphones heh...

The pads are known to have issues thats why I asked him and got a newer black one.. I also tested it.. and it seemed fine.. until I was really pounding it last night..

Main reason I bought his is because he has allll of the popular hip-hop samples allready on it like 808 bass and eminem snares eheh..

That email sounded a little harsh... not sure if that was such a good idea.

Good luck with it... but in the future, I would just find it from a reputable business.

I hope it did sound harsh. I want him to know I am serious.

If he really did know about the issues and sold me broken **** he deserves everything he may get.

and if he had no idea about the problems he is going to be like "Wtf" and want to help me out worried that I may cause him problems.

Ok well I have decided theirs nothing wrong with the pads.

but their is still something wrong with the stereo outs.

So i gotta figure that out.. but prolly no big deal.. the dude assures me they worked for him..

I'd probably call you a douchebag and tell you to take me to small claims court if your initial contact after having a problem was an email like that
