installing HID kit?

    Are you not supposed to wire anything to the battery to power up the ballasts? I bought the single beam kit on vvme and they didn't include any relay like that to connect it.

    You don't need to power it to the battery. Just hook up the connectors.

    Just hook up the connections and your good but,you should get a relay kit because iv heard of HID's catching on fire because or the wires.Look at it like this,the wires on the car cheap like lets say they cost 2 bucks while on an Acura,Mercades,BMW there wires cost 6 bucks thats because you need better wires to run the HID's.Plus,with the relay kit it will protect your ballasts with the RIGHT voltage going through them.Its only 15 bucks or less.
