Profile Violation
Have faded paint and some other items just restoring:
First, I did a brushed aluminum look for the shift bezel:
Used a chrome paint, and let it dry some. Then, took clear lacquer and sprayed
it over top, and it immediately took the shine off and faded to a brushed
aluminum look. Can't tell by the pictures but it almost matches the door
handles.
Then took the PRNDL cover off, and painted it:
In the end, I probably should have sanded off the texture that was on this
piece, because the trim black kind of made it look coarse. Still looks better
than it did.
