I don't have a 520, but a 620. Great camera for the money. I haven't had any trouble out of mine.

    So for $60 it's a good deal?

I have a Kodak Easyshare C315 but the LCD screen shows everything mirror-imaged so I'm thinking about getting this one.

Keep in mind the A520 is only 4 megapixels though, not 7.1 like the A620.

That's what I shot with before I got the 400D. It's a great camera. It takes great pictures, and is a tank as well.

Well, to save space (and take more pics) I usually use the small or medium setting on my A620.

3xxx by 3xxx pics are pretty useless for anything but large desktop backgrounds or large prints.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Granted its only 4 MP but unless you want to print out 8x10's or something theres really no need for much more.

Canon makes decent point and shoot cameras, so I wouldn't be afraid to buy it.

60 bucks for an A520 is a really good deal.
My only criticism of those cameras is they are really slow to take a picture in auto mode.
