When they were at final jeopardy, the Nancy woman won just enough to put her $1 above Jennings, then he got the wrong answer taking him down to less than $10k

Will the government take away a portion of his winnings in taxes??. How does that work?. If I'm not mistaken, you Americans are taxed on any winnings from lottery tickets and casinos, but how does it work with game shows?.

you win something you pay taxes. you win a car, you pay tax on the value of the car.

Hmm, that really sucks. I don't remember the exact amount that he won, but let's just say he won 2 million. How much will he come out with?.

Up here in the great white north, there's no taxes on lottery winnings or prizes (thank god!). But we're taxed on just about everything else. Even when somebody kicks the bucket, the estate is taxed!.

just about everything down here is taxed, and in some cases, twice. with his 2.5 million winning, he will take home roughly 1.5 mil, which still isnt that bad at all.

2,500,070 or something like that. It was 2.5 million and change.

BTW this is old news we all knew for weeks (plus I posted the proof last night...go dig back to page 2).

Also, I think he threw the game. I mean c'mon, Fed-Ex. Anyone else would have been a better guess than that. If not, damn, I need a job at Fed-Ex. :)

something smells fishy i think he took a payoff. He didn't play his normal game he bet way to high on his wagers and he just wasnt the same. I don't think HE lost by any standards i think he wanted off or was paid to get off

i still think his 74 game streak was a publicity stunt on some level. coincidence how they jsut recently did away with their 5 win limit? their ratings shot up like crazy since his streak began, and each 30 second commercial time slot has gotten more and more expensive. theyre making way more than theyre paying ken in winnings.

Same here. The wife came home a couple days ago & told me it was gonna happen...she told me the final jeopary question & I was like "H&R Block"...that has to be the easiest FJ question I've ever heard.

He threw it. Probably sick of being there.
