Lower air intake butterflies?

    Removing the EGR is quite possible, but may not be legal in states with strong emissions controls and laws.

    To remove, the stainless steel bung inside the lower intake runners can be pried out. The holes must then be filled with epoxy which I do not recommend, or welded shut with aluminum. Once removed and welded, then the rough areas should be filed smooth.
