Again the folks at Thompson Raceway Park in Thompson, Ohio did a great job keep the track in excellent condition.

Good reaction time. I have NEVER been to a drag strip but I live really close to one. Is there a list of do's and don'ts for first time drivers? It seems like it's really easy to get banned by misunderstanding rules. I'm always worried I'll drive up and stage wrong or do something that would seem like an honest mistake that will get me thrown off or something.

Just go out and do it!

If it's a racers track no one will yell at you!
    Everyone has made mistakes!
    I've made a bunch.

Pulled up to run, down the track I saw my dail in as 9.90.
    Didn't know what that ment.
    Well this how it goes.
If you do not show a dial in, then you automatically get the same as the car in other lane:-(

    Lesson learned!

When the car ran faster than allowed without a roll bar I was told very nicely not to do it again.
    Cute Story
I called my daughter on my cell phone and as she recorded I asked the official to say it again but this time be more forceful.
He was more than happy to do it.

I now have a cool video and made a friend at the track :)
