I'm looking to get a true dual exhaust system for my 05 v6 stang and want to know how you guys feel about y'all's exhausts and whatnot and if I should keep the cats or not, also I want something like the pypes true dual axle back exhaust, I like how it doesn't have the huge bulky muffler but was wondering y'all's opinions

you could just search on YouTube and try to find a sound you like, as far as my opinion on "my dual setup" I don't have one:cry:. I've heard borla give a nice agressive no raspy tone but they're up there in price. I only have a single axleback thing and idk I. Bought the car like that, makes it sound popcorny when I downshift >:\

having someone you know to bend the tubes and do welding and it will be WAY cheaper than buying a kit, I was going to just delete everything and do a dual straightpipe all the way back but I think I'll just save up some and buy one I can just bolt on, I want to do headers at the same time soo well see lol

I was gonna do straight pipe but was afraid of the check engine light thing and not passing emissions even though we don't have those where I'm at

Whatever you do be sure that the system has flanges so maintenance on the underside sin't hampered by the exhaust.

It's a fine line between a cool/aggressive sounding exhaust and annoying. Particularly on a DD car.

you could still straightpipe it and just weld in spots for the o2 sensors, that's the only thing that would trip the CEL isn't it?

I doubt straight pipes will sound good at all.

I looked them up on you tube and they sound terrible, taking for granted that it was filmed in a phone but still they all suck,
I've inly heard a couple good exhausts on YouTube and can't find what I like I think all of them have bad quality except for minor few

And great point with the bees in a tin thing man haha
