Yeah I dont have a "use avatar" box at that screen thats the problem. The only bulleted option I have is "do not ues an avatar" and I can't unselect it or anything.

Also The page is too wide. By that I mean I have to scroll to the right to read the last few words of every line in a post. Is it like that for anyone else? It's pretty annoying, and was never like that before. Also my desktop resolution is 1024x768 so that shouldn't be the problem.

Edit: It seems that in the new layout the left column with the user name/avatar/information is alot wider than in the old version. That may be contributing to the being to wide factor...

Still no "Custom avatar" box... the only thing that changes, is the "No, do not use an avatar" bullet is no longer checked, and there is an avatar on the right, but no options to do anything with it, except remove it..

Oh yeah I guess thats it. I didnt even see the wide image i just read the text. Im on 56k so the images take awhile to load sometimes but it still makes it wider before they are loaded. :D

    Sean,

I don't know if anyone has recommend this yet -- Would you place "Mark this Thread Read" back up at the top like it was before -- it would make it easier, I think. I'm sure most people would agree.

    Thanks. :)

    It automatically does that...
All you gotta do it click "Off Topic" or which ever section you were in,
up on top to go back - and the thread will appear without the "New posts" icon next to it...

I just saw something cool... dunno if anyone noticed it yet

You can read the original post of the thread without even clicking it...
Just place the cursor over the link to the thread, and it pops up the little description box, of the original post in that thread. You can just go down the list of threads, plasing the mouse over the link, reading what's in it. No more clicking on lame threads, only to press the Back button :) kewl

EDIT: It works on all the threads that were made after the update... I couldn't figure out why it didn't do it on every single one - and noticed that it didn't come up only on the threads that were made on the old vBulletin version.
