Gotta go 4.10, ESPECIALLY with the higher revving OHC engine.

that will depend on the transmission ratios, and im not familiar with those, being that there new and all, and i assume those come with 3.27 final and still the good 'Ol 7.5? in which case ford doesnt make 3.55's

However, with 5 gears and a higher reving motor i would think 3.73 maybe 4.10 would be a safe bet.

With your exhaust did you just change the muffler to a Flowmaster 50? If so definatly get some true duals on there at some point. I'd like to see what a CAI, UDP, Gears/Posi, Duals, and a tune do to these cars. Hopefully the results will be impressive like pete has been saying.

I had the stock muffler replaced with the flow. Yes these have the 7.5 rear end. I had 3.73's installed on my 95 gt a few years ago and i could not believe the difference! So i can imagine it would be identical or better in this but the 4.10's are singing to me a little as well. Can't make up my mind. I have to wait until they can calibrate the new cars anyway so that will be a while they are saying at least a month. I would do dual exhaust but I would have to change the rear bumper as dual pipes with only a single cutout on the bumper wouldn't look right. I thought about doing a electric cut off instead later on.

Putting 3.73's on the '05 wouldn't have nearly the effect that they did putting them on the '95. The '95 GT came with 2.73's from the factory, whereas the '05 v6 came with 3.31's. So, there will definately be a noticeable difference, but not quite the same as the '95. I vote 4.10's.

Look under the sponser forums for Velocity Mustang Performance (VMP). Talk to VMPJason. I'm pretty sure they can calibrate 05's with the tuner now.
