Howdy people! I got a 2004 Ford Mustang Base Coupe and looking for some info. Got 170k miles on her and would like to keep her in good condition.

Welcome! The 3.8 is a good reliable engine if you keep your oil changes up. Well I guess yours might be a 3.9 but it's pretty much literally the same thing. Lots of aftermarket bolt ons. Pulleys, coils, intakes, tuners, etc.

Thank you. Yeah, seen couple of good tips around about pulley and intake. Gonna start some modding soon when the pocket allows.

I've learned that replacing the head gaskets (and other gaskets) at around this mileage is wise.
