So I just purchased both a Roush CAI with the rev x tuner from AM for my v6 2017. I'm wondering if I will have any problems with the car or with taking the car to the dealership for check up and oil change and all that sort of stuff. By the way I am currently in CALIFORNIA . ANY TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS HELP. THANKS!

No, not for maintenance. Emissions, depends, the intake has to be CARB approved.
Non one has ever refused an oil change because the car was tuned, and has a CAI.

You can always go back to factory tune three days before getting the emissions done.

Warranty, could be an issue with the tune, but, they can't SEE a tune when changing
the oil...

Yes I made sure the Roush CAI I purchased was carb approved . However the tune is illegal in California. Will there be problems if I take it for service? Also, will the dealers see if I messed with the computer?
Thanks so far!

Like I SAID, if you are taking it in for service, no. Service to me means, repairs,
tires, tire rotation, oil change, and so on. Emissions, YES, you have to go
back to stock 3-days before taking it in for the emissions. If you go back to
stock and go in immediately, it won't be ready for testing, it will fail.

They can't see a tune, no one knows you tuned it unless you tell them,
or you leave the tuner hooked up to the car...

Mine is tuned, I could sell it like that, and they wouldn't know unless I
said so.

I tell them DO NOT perform any updates without my consent, never had an
issue... This way, if I know there is an update, I return it to stock before
the next trip, then say nothing.

The reason is: IF they update it, you can't use your tuner anymore. This is like tuning
your car, then trying it on another one, it won't work. It recognizes there is a stock
tune, and not a tune from the tool. So, you now have a locked tuner...
