Saw a thread over on 3.8mustang.com. Im a regular poster with more than 4k posts over there. I figured I'd come over to this site to meet new people and such. I am from IL. I go to school in Peoria

I recognize some of the screen names on this site from 3.8 as well. Im not going by the same screen name here. I was shadowgreystang over there.

Here's a pic of my car as of last June. Its gone under a lot of changes as of these past few months and there are many, many mods planned for this upcoming year starting this christmas break.

Some of the mods since this picture are:
    -Hood stripe
    -Changed out side emblems
    -New trunk emblem(not pictured anyways)
    -Went back to smoked fogs

    Upcoming stuff:

    Winter
-Rims (not telling you what style/finish, but they will be Deep Dish)
    -Lower
    -Side marker tint removed

    Summer
    -03/04 Cobra front
    -GT hood
    -Full suspention
-Then ill start looking into some performance. Looking at procharger/m112. But might possibly just go all bolt-ons and tune.

The rims/tires are for sale by the way. If anyone is interested they can PM me.

Very nice! Those 232 badges are the cleanest looking ones I've seen by far, nice choice.

    Welcome! REally like the car.

I do like what you did with the ponies. Mine are a little faded. I could do something like that (but not teal. )

What are you asking for the wheels and tires? How much tread? Noob question but can a person get different centercaps for them somewhere?
You should put them in the classifieds.

3 out of 4 tires have more than 75% tread. The spinning wheel has less than that. I payed 575 for these rims 8 months ago without tires on them. Im selling them now for 675 WITH 3 GREAT Condition tires and 1 tire that maybe has another 3 months left on it. The only problem is shipping is kinda steep on these.

I'll put a thead in the classifieds.

Yeah the shipping to me can't be good, it's a long way. I wouldn't mind finding some rims only and put my own drag radials. Good luck in the classifieds. :)

When I do decide to spend on the car again it would be smarter to buy some high flow cats instead. :)

    Cool.

I have a lot of small/medium size projects for this winter. Im slowly adding more. Hopefully by this time next year I can get all the appearance stuff I want done like window tint, cobra front, new hood, deep dish rears, stuff like that and start other projects.

I most likely will start with better exhaust than I have now with an 8.8 rear end with 4.10's.

after that its getting the 03/04 Cobra M112 mounted on the 3.8.

I imagine you are askig LilRoush, he is also a member over at 3.8. Super Six Motorsports has a custom peice thats allows you to mount the m112. They just recently started making it and its a bit pricey but reasonable.. Besides that its a custom deal.

I would like to see Matt do a writeup for us for his entire install.

    Taylor,
You are going to really like the 8.8 with 4:10s.

Welcome. What exhaust are you running? Looks like it might just be dumped before the bumper?

Nothing special at all. Just a flowmaster super 40 series weld in with the exhaust dumped just after the rear wheels.

It sounds much louder and a little more "muscle like" that stock. But its nothing impressive. Once I start the m112 project it'll be getting long tubes and true dual exhaust with an o/r x-pipe

    Just one more quick question...

How did you get my daughter's ultrasound pic as your avatar?

    No seriously.

She's driving me nuts, from birth she would check out vehicles (although motorcycles most of all) and say 'broom broom!'. It was cute at first but now she has to go on car rides constantly and hates her car seat. ugh. :(
