Hey all. I was referred here by mustang024, glad to see a site with active v6 mustang users. v6power has been dead for a while. only a handfull of members still post on there.

I'm not new to mustang v6's. I've had a cougar with a 3.8, did the nitrous thing, supercharged thing, then turbo thing. pulled the motor and sent the car to the junk yard. now I have a 2000 v6 mustang. I'm proud of this car. I've spared no expense so far with her. full UPR tubular front suspension. coil overs all the way around, big brakes all the way around. caster camber kit, double adjustable upper and lowers, chrome strut brace, aluminum driveshaft, built motor, built 4r70w. built rear end. full 1500hp fuel system and still retained heater and a/c and a full stereo system. I'm not done with the build yet. only thing left is the motor. The motor from my cougar was built with wiseco pistons, cat h-beam rods and a 93 SC block. This time around I'm using an 01-04 block. 4-bolt billet main caps. 4.2 crank, scat rods, diamond pistons and a precision 7675 cea turbo. goal is 1,000hp. I'm pretty confident I'll reach that goal with enough boost. I'm expecting it to take 35psi to get there.

anyways, thats my story, thanks for having me.

forgot to add that I also have a nitrous setup for a 200 shot bolted in the trunk where the spare tire was. I'll post pics eventually. I haven't even posted pics on v6p and its been like 6 months since I started by build thread over there. I have a ton of pics on my phone, just gotta upload them to my laptop. as for tuning I'm doing the tuning myself using the moates quarterhorse and binary editor. its the best tuning solution on the market hands down. I highly recommend it to everyone.

image.jpg thats how she was the day I got her. I've got a ton of pics but like I said they're on my phone, took 5 mins to upload that one image. I've gotta load them onto my laptop. Externally the car looks the same as in the pic, but other than that, I pretty much upgraded EVERYTHING. Only thing I'm going to re use from the car is the interior trim and turbo manifolds.

Welcome to the site! I'm not sold on the exterior looks. But if it's what you like then that's what matters! Now the motor/suspension/fuel components sound very nice can't wait to see it all finished!!!

I'm not a fan either. Hence why I am trying to de-rice this stang. It had chrome tail lights. Angel eye headlights, chrome mustang letter inserts, 232 badges, Fake Saleen side scoops etc.. It costs money to go back to stock so I'm saving up. With my tax return ill buy a cobra bumper side scoops and trunk. Eventually I'd like to get 03/04 cobra rims as well.
