EVERY. NIGHT. For 20 minutes for the last 2 years. While I’m drying my 4 y/o’s hair, she watches Ryan’s Toy Review. ****ing amazing he makes $11M.

One more VR update. I upgraded to a new set of headphones and for some reason it improves the visual VR effect. Maybe because it helps block out the outside world. I should have upgraded from the included earbuds when I first got it.

that streamer guy i mentioned is insane. when he was banned i'd find his accounts and he'd go on some benders. understandable b/c i've done it on the same game, but only when drinking so like 12 hours until i passed out. longest one of his i ever found was 36 hours. he's legit addicted to the game. he doesn't drink and is in the middle of 48 hour session right now. i think he's at 30 hours, 70k viewers, and is about to take a shower break. he'll come back full steam and play for at least another 12 hours.

i pointed out his 11k subs ($5/month) on his first day. well this being his first week earlier he said he's hit 20k subs now. i wonder if that's just since he's been back b/c he's actually streamed for years and prob had 5-10k already.

edit: still going  i think hes at about 42 hours now.

I haven't really played much since the first week. I've been playing Assassin's Creed Origins and want to actually finish it (I've had trouble with getting overwhelmed with too many games lately and not finishing them. lol)
I think I need to do that. I despise ear buds in general but those feel like inflated balloons in my ears.

nice. looks like that was the patch after naxx40 came out so probably the most stable vanilla patch with all the content.

im not really sure how i feel about classic. it sounds great, but i know the hardcore players want it to be exactly like the old days. not sure i could do that nowadays. im an lfg whore and leveling 6 diff toons right now. that's about all i do on wow nowadays.

I probably put less than 6 hours into WoW back in the day, but I like the idea of classic just from a game preservation perspective. I don't know if this will make me go back to see what I missed, but I like the idea of fans of the old version and people who missed out being able to go back to see what they missed.

    you playing nowadays?

i played probably the last 6 months of classic, but never hit max level. carried my sub into BC a little bit, but then quit. i came back just a little before LK, and got my toon up to max level a couple weeks after launch. i played quite a bit in LK and kept my sub going through cata and until i was done with endgame mop. i hated the wod expansion, but i did everything.

a couple months ago i got to 110 on every class for my horde realm so now im just working on ally toons. actually having a blast just running my dk in 5 mans b/c its LK content.

I don't really do online gaming these days. I try to stick to single player and avoid games with indefinite time commitments. I might break that rule for Anthem next year, only because I've been a big fan of Bioware's previous games.

i wish i could do those games by myself. i always just burn out on them after an hour. i've tried with the bioshocks, halos, alan wakes, uncharteds, etcs. im all over them if they are co-op, but most aren't and i can't talk my buddy into buying an xbox for halos

i have always enjoyed grinding in wow. i do enough end game content to say i've completed it all, and get decent gear on main toon, but that's it. i mainly just farm old instances, level alts, work the ah, etc. boring ass ****, but it's the one game i've always been able to fire up and just do something.

I get ti. It isn't that I don't enjoy the grind, but that was the problem. It gets too easy to lose dozens of hours doing the same basic stuff. By the way, if you're into co-op, keep an eye out for the new Wolfenstein next year. The next Wolfenstein game is a co-op title starring BJ’s twin daughters
The current run of the series has been the best shooters I've played this console generation and the new one is being built around co-op mode.
