Nice thing about outboards, very minimal. So glad I got rid of my inboard and got my pontoon.

i was just being a smart ass to him earlier. not a boat guy but my family has them. no inboards at all. with wandler though it gets so freakin cold i wonder if they can leave them in the docks. i'm thinking they might not be able to and have to store them indoors. it's cold as balls for like 6 months up there and that can't be good for anything out in the elements.

You have to take them out, winterize, and store them. Lots of people just cover them and store them outside and some store in cold storage.

The lakes completely freeze over in the winter so leaving them docked isn't an option. I think our lake is at 24" of ice.

Lakes don't freeze around here and I wouldn't leave in the water year round here. Heck my boat is 70% of the reason I built my shop. Haven't got to take my boat out much, and really doubting I will this summer with a baby. Debating about putting my boat at one of the city lakes that's about 25 minutes away. Thinking that way even though it's not the ideal lake, I'd probably still go out on it more, plus a covered slip is cheap like $45 a month.

Nope. You have to pull your dock out.

Officially bought this on the 1st after taking delivery. It only took about 7 days before I started buying mods. :fuuu:

    It's nice.

Sold the 00 V6 for a whopping $1,800 to a recent high school grad who lives about a half mile away - so I still see it all of the time...kinda weird.
