And on the Sirius note, the Beatles channel was sooooo long overdue.

50 year anniversary of Sgt Peppers too. PBS had an hour and a half special on the album. It was really good/interesting. Explained a lot of the creative things that were breakthrough at the time and took so many hours (and then said you could do the same thing now with your phone apps in 5 minutes).

    Foo Fighters Everlong was #1.

But there were a lot of, "oh that should be higher" or "that is way too high."

Really? It's an amazing channel. If you can't find something on you put Lithium on and you're golden.

    Wife and I both agreed.

They started the countdown at 8am when we left the house and finished the countdown as we were 10 minutes from the beach house so we basically listened to most of it. We started listing what the top 5 would be and were wrong.

Because some of us drive a lot? Especially in areas with slim radio options. You know, like North Dakota.

teen spirit is a terrible song  kurt himself is laughing in his grave that it got #1.

i don't get how you guys listen to radio like that. all of the bands on that list have better songs. the singles are the worst ones. why not just make your own compilation and put it on random?

takes me 20-25 mins to get to work. longer if im dropping the kids off, and double the trip if i come home from lunch. that doesn't justify listening to what's essentially a classic rock station now.

edit: we have one classic rock station here + espn radio. that's it. there is a decent morning talk show, but it gets old. still would never listen to sirius. got 3 months trials with our cars, and was nothing to listen to.

Because I don't have those albums and I can switch from 90's alternative to Beatles to 80's hits to rap to dedicated college sports talk to CNN to Howard Stern.
