And just LOL if you don't think Smell Like Teen Spirit didn't change the entire scope of music as we know it today.

I mean, I'm a huge Nirvana fan but I'm not gonna say Teen Spirit is the best they put out but that **** changed everything.

And I'm sorry if you have to subject yourself to DL podcasts and listening to terrestrial stations when satellite is RIGHT there.

I bet Dur is the kind of guy who still steals music.

we've covered this before. i still buy CDs because it's the best way to throw money at artists.

i just find it hilarious that you guys talk ****, and think singles are the best songs bands wrote. **** the stuff they cover are better than their singles. maybe get off the radio

You're so underground man. I only wish I could be as cool as you and listen to one band.

Seriously though, no one said the singles were the best songs. But if you're doing a top 100 list you're not going to put random songs on it that most people haven't heard. Music is subjective so your singles are going to get the most attention and be on these kinds of lists. If we're talking Nirvana, Teen Spirit is quite a way down the list for me, but overall, that song changed mainstream music.

That's fine you don't like 90s grunge/alternative but to call it **** is clearly just you trolling.

I've tried countless times to get listen to metal but I can't stand the cookie monster singing. Musically, I like it but as soon as they start singing, nope.

For example, I like this but it would be better off without the growly ****:

i never said that though. there are some bands i don't like, but for the most part i enjoy it. for ex: pearl jam blows, and AIC are the best.

as for growling crap, hate it too. this is probably my fav song right now. **** gets me pumped up as hell for softball

I'm sure they have, that song might be more something they'd play on Faction, being punk. They don't typically play B side stuff (that song isn't I know), occasionally, but mostly the more well known stuff. Bands like AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, STP, Offspring, Nirvana have deep catalogs so they aren't going to play the obscure/less known stuff when they have so many hits to pick from.

thats basically my problem. the singles from those bands are all way too played out for me. i can't listen to classic rock stations either.

can they play non single stuff? like rain when i die? i don't think that was an official single, but is really popular, and aic would have the smallest library (3 albums).

Yeah, they do play non single stuff on occasion. I agree with you that a lot of it is too played out but if I'm driving with someone I put it on and no one complains. I don't actually listen to that channel very often but I love the music they play if that makes sense.
